Cultural Walk + Weeding in the Melaleuca Wetlands

Come and join us celebrate NAIDOC on Coochiemudlo Island by participating in a Cultural Walk and Talk hosted by Quandamooka representative Elisha Kissick from Yura Tours.

After the tour, we’ll enjoy a cuppa and morning tea inspired by native flavours before heading into the Melaleuca Wetlands to do some weeding. Weeding helps this special environment can continue to do its vital work ensuring we all have clean air, fresh water and safe futures.

Please make sure to wear long-sleeve shirt, long pants, a hat, enclosed shoes, and to bring gloves and a drink bottle.
