Coochie Shoreline Erosion Management studies ongoing

Coastcare is represented on the Community Reference Group, chaired by Cr Lance Hewlett and have been meeting with Council officers for almost three years to develop a Shoreline Erosion Management Plan for Coochiemudlo Island. For the past two years consultancy WBM BMT has been involved.
At times it has been interesting, some months fascinating, but generally the bureaucratic process has been extremely frustrating.
